Facebook Timeline remover

I really didn't want to post this on the blog, but since Mark Zuckerberg prevented me to put it on my WALL (yes, I still have my Facebook Wall) I decided to go with my own free liberty of expression space, so, for all my friends that still encounter the same timeline shit, go to this site: www.timelineremove.com.

HayWire (2011)

Mallory Kane (Gina Carano) is a freelance covert agent working in the private sector just outside of government control.
This starts off in a small town café, somewhere in Upstate New York. Mallory has come out of hiding to meet with Alex Coblenz (Michael Douglas), the government contact that initiated her Barcelona assignment. But Aaron (Channing Tatum), a co-agent she worked with on that assignment, showed up instead. All Aaron knows is that he’s there to pick her up and turn her in to Kenneth (Ewan McGregor), their handler; but Mallory has no intentions of being turned in. Scott (Michael Angarano), an innocent by-standing customer with a big heart, is not about to sit by and watch some bully beat up on a sweet defenseless girl. So he gets caught up in Mallory’s mess when he jumps in trying to rescue her.
For me, Aaron sealed the fate of disappointment in this movie by the way he sprang his vicious surprise attack on Mallory right there in the busy café. Writer’s block, or perhaps a budget cap? HA! Maybe, who knows? But that was only the beginning of the downfall; soon there would be many other pretentious scenes to conclude this disaster.
Mallory and Scott escape in his car and she decides to tell him all about her adventurous assignments in Barcelona and Dublin. Also how she has been double-crossed into everything else that lead her to that little café. But her story is not over yet, and she will need to continue using her contacts and covert skills to survive.
My favorite scene is when Mallory takes Scott’s brand new car off-road in an attempt to elude a police roadblock. Just when it seems they’ll be pinned front to rear, she kicks into reverse and slips away down a side-track. YAY… NOT! All it takes is lone deer, standing in the middle of the trail, to take them down and force surrender. HA!
My least favorite: Well, after all the beatings and body slams she has endured, mind you, No blood loss and No signs of pain or injury. Yet, she takes a fall off the side of a building, maybe 15 or 20 feet. And now, she finally feels pain? OKAY!
Sorry folks, but this is one of those movies where you see all the ‘Good Stuff’ in the trailers.

J. Edgar (2011)

This movie is a delicious purview into the hypocritical irony that was J. Edgar Hoover.
I enjoyed the past and present flashbacks as J. Edgar Hoover (Leonardo DiCaprio) narrates his side of 'The Story', referring to his involvement in and the building of, the FBI.
He begins his tale by recollecting events that took place back in 1919. Hoover began his career fresh out of college with his first job working in the Justice Department in Washington D.C. Within just a couple of years, his performance lands him a promotion by the Attorney General, A. Mitchell Palmer (Geoff Pierson) as Special Assistant to the attorney general. With this new job, Hoover was to head the Federal Bureau of Investigations - FBI- , a new department formed to gather evidence on Radical Groups (Communists) and other threats of National Security in America.
Through his recollections, we can see his closest ties were to his mother Annie Hoover (Judi Dench) who it would seem remained his 'Rock' until her death. Also Helen Grady (Naomi Watts), whom he met shortly before his promotion, she became his dear friend and personal secretary. And finally Clyde Tolsen (Armie Hammer) who became his dearest friend, companion and closest confidant. He was allowed to use his innovative ideas to mold the bureau into what is now considered today to be, the finest Law Enforcement Organization in the world.
Helen and Clyde remained by J. Edgar's side throughout the rest of his career and life which would span the next forty-six years under eight presidents as, the Director of the FBI.
 J. Edgar is an entertaining Drama, though I wouldn't try to rewrite history books with it or even consider it as a biography.

Intermission: How DEP will you go?

Long time, no see, but that's why.

Don't send me solutions, I dealt with it myself.

This is not my actual desktop, it's a composite of some other people problems.

Stand by for: "J. Edgar" and "Haywire"

Thank you for all your support!

The Adjustment Bureau (2011)

This is a story about fate. What is fate?

The young ambitious rebel, Congressman David Norris (Matt Damon) is about to find out after he causes another ripple effect, in “His Plan,” by accidently meeting Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt) in a hotel men’s room.
David is the front runner in a political battle to become the next US Senator for the great state of New York. An adjustment team is sent in to govern his progress because the reckless behavior of his youth proves to be more than his best friend and campaign chairman, Charlie Traynor (Michael Kelly) can control. That becomes evident after the media delivers a fatal blow to his campaign by the release of damaging arrest photos taken several years ago, on the night he was elected into the House of Representatives. Election Night, with a heavy heart and deflated ego he retreats into the privacy of the men’s restroom to practice his speech, before ultimately appearing in front of his constituencies to concede the Senate race.

For Heaven’s Sake! Who in this world could ever imagine meeting their one True Love, in of all places, a bathroom?

A month goes by and David is on his way to a meeting at his new job with Charlie when out of the blue, he sees her sitting alone on a city bus. This time he learns her name is Elise and even manages to get her phone number before they reach her stop. Actually, it wasn’t just, out of the blue. Instead, it would seem that David has several ripples in “His Plan.” See, Harry (Anthony Mackie) didn’t spill David’s coffee at the right time in the park, he was not supposed to get on that bus. David causes an irreversible ripple when he unexpectedly arrives on time to the meeting at his new job, and walks in while the team is making their adjustment to Charlie. Now the Adjustment Bureau has to choose whether to erase David, or fill him in on his plan. They decide to fill him in. But, within the next four years, David will have to make a decision for himself as he risks everything to see her again, his one True Love, even if for only, one more brief moment.

The Grey (2012)

John Ottway (Liam Neeson) is a hired gunman for an Alaskan oil company, a sniper paid to protect the rigging teams as they lay pipelines across the harsh tundra. His job is about to take on a whole new set of duties when a haunting, but sweet and peaceful, dream is suddenly interrupted by a plane crash which forces him to trade his riffle for makeshift torches and spears. Now, instead of standing guard and keeping watch over the work crews, he finds himself arm and arm beside them as they fight for survival against not only the wilderness and frigid elements but also a fierce and relentless pack of wolves.

Ottway seems to be the only level-head when it comes to survival and the only one that knows anything about wolves. After he gets attacked outside the plane, he begins to share some of his knowledge with the six remaining crash survivors. But soon, they will all learn everything they will ever need to know as they trek away from the safety of the plane debris and out into the wind and snow in search of salvation.

Once more into the fray. Into the last good fight I will ever know
Live or die on this day. Live or die on this day.

Most times you can sense when something big or bad, is about to happen. But that “something” had already happened after Ottway and Diaz fought, and the black wolf appeared. Then comes the calm. Everyone settled back down around the fire while Diaz is apologizing for being an ass and, WHAM! Sparks fly! ....OMG!....

YES! Another Must See movie, with drama, adventure, action and thrills. You definitely will not be disappointed!

Man On Fire

John Creasy, (the had been somebody turned worthless drunk, with burdens to bury) is set up with Samual Ramos, (a wanna be wealthy, respectable family businessman) to embark on a sweet piece of cake Bodyguard Job for Ramos’s daughter. The ‘cake job’ gets stale, as John bonds with his charge Lupita Ramos. Dakota Fanning can melt the coldest heart! And once again, Danzel Washington RULES! Opps! Hehe ..

My favorite phrases were, "I’m the sheep that got lost." and "A bullet always tells the truth." Personally, I’m happy just to take someone’s word on THAT one!
My first favorite part is when Pita finally beat the block, and won her first swim meet. YAY Pita ;-)
Oh yes, and when she exercised good advise with her piano teacher.. HEHE
OMG - I couldn’t control my tears when Pita saw John get shot, and then ran back to him. My heart sank as she got grabbed and rushed away. " Revenge IS a meal, best severed cold ! " And I was at my seat’s edge with each meal served!!! But, Bitter Sweet endings are always hard to swallow, especially when the initial threat has not yet been abolished...
